Summer Update

Hello!
School has started and I am back in town. Websense no longer blocks my website (they labeled it "tasteless," assholes) and I can now read all the comments from this summer.
I haven't seen any clients yet, but I may start within the week.
I'm scouting out an incall location, but don't really want to pay any money for it, so we'll see how that goes. I spent all my money from this summer on books, my real apartment's security deposit and rent, and new-apartment supplies. I'm living by myself this year! It's exciting but also lonely. I've never lived alone before. I have no television, I can't afford a car, and my internet is not set up yet, so those things might contribute to my feeling of aloneness. On the other hand, it is very nice to not deal with anyone else's stuff.

I am subsisting on tomato products until I can get out to get groceries. V8 for breakfast, tomato soup for lunch, and pasta for dinner. Last night I went to a Christian barbecue and got free food, so that was nice. I think I will try another Christian barbecue tonight before I try my free yoga classes. Everything is free right now on campus as they try to get new students hooked.

I am panicking because it looks like I will not be able to graduate this year. However, I might be able to convince the college to let me into a master's program while I finish the one class, offered every other year, that will allow me to receive my bachelor's.

It was my birthday recently and I am now at the very mature, responsible age of 22 years old!!! Frightening! At least I could still claim to be a kid when I was 21. Now I have to be very mature. My mother helped me move in and made me throw away all my beer paraphernalia. "You're not a kid anymore, you're an adult! Get rid of this crap! No more posters and beer pitchers! From now on, it's framed photographs, window valances, and bed skirts for your apartment!!"
I nearly cried. She threw everything away! Oh well.

Welcome back!! I was wondering what happened to you. Didn't know your blog got blocked. That's lame. Also, you need to do a better summer update, you know. :) So what did you do for the summer? Did you get that summer job that you wanted which you were afraid you might fail the drug test? Or did you go home for the summer and got a waitressing job? The inquiring mind wants to know. Hooked up with anyone over the summer? :) Looking forward to a new year of your blog! :) Take care!

Glad to see that you're back. Unfortunately I got into reading this blog right before you took your hiatus, hopefully I will be able to keep up with it now that you're back.

Hi Me,

Welcome back. As luck would have it I was updating my blogroll and decided to check my list of "interesting but inactive" blogs. I was sorry to see you go and I'm glad you're back. Good luck with the new school year.

Take care,

figleaf

I'm sorry I didn't fully update you, Pete. I took the southern job and passed the drug test. I didn't hook up with anyone over the summer because the place I worked at was swarming with nerds and everyone who wasn't a fat nerd was either a hick townie or a Southern Baptist.

you sound like you eat heathly..........v8 for breakfast, tomato soup, etc. you must have a nice figure.........you should post a headless body shot sometime

Why?
Also, I don't think my diet is healthy at all. I posted that to illustrate how unhealthy my eating habits are right now.
I don't care to post a headless body shot of me because I don't see why.

I stumbled across this blog on my way elsewhere and have enjoyed the archives.

Forget the headless body shot,,,you should write up your diet as a book and sell it; if you come up with a catchy (or kitschy, or even ketchupy) title, the proceeds should more than cover your semester expenses. Instead of South Beach, maybe Midwest Garden or Body by Tomato or How to Look like a Call Girl in 30 days or less..

Forgot to wish you a belated Happy Birthday! Sweet 22! :) You're still young! This is the only time I'll ever tell you to ignore what your mom say. Don't ever act mature! Act and live responsibily but always feel and be young on the inside and outside! You don't want to act like an old fart at the young age of 22, do you?! :D Too bad mom threw away all those beer paraphernalia. It would be a good keepsake to look back on in 30 years or something. *shrug* :)

found this on internet, thought it was funny: [Collected on the Internet, 1995]

A man travels to St. John's Newfoundland on business from another part of the province. He checks into the Holiday Inn and arranges with the desk clerk to have a hooker sent to his room. A few minutes later, a knock comes on his door, and he opens it to find his own daughter, who was a student at the local university. (Presumably, she found her allowance to be insufficient, probably due to the fact that her father was spending all his money on hookers.) I am sure it is probably a "folk" tale although I did have a really good friend from high school who became an exotic dancer and her greatest fear was looking down from the stage one night and watching her dad, uncle, cousin, neighbor, old high school teacher, etc. walk through the door; well it took seven years but......................I am sure you do but screen your clients well.......an old saying states that everybody is only two people away from everybody else.....a good news update on my exotic dancer friend, she finished college with a masters in business administration and now lives in California and makes BIG BUCKS as an executive in a company that shall remain nameless here. I hope that the fruits of your endeavors shall be equally or more rewarding than hers. Good luck, work hard at school, happy birthday, and welcome back.
